best weekend ever.

Busy but fun. We had the "Race for the Cure" at 8:30 am Sat. morning. Since its widely known that I'm the most non-morning person ever, we decided to get a hotel room and spend Friday in SLC having fun. Plus staying in hotels always = fun, right?

The race was only a 5k so we weren't "racing" for very long. But I will say the toughest part was maneuvering through 18,000 people. I have to admit I didn't really think much about what the race was for, until I saw a dad and his 2 little girls waiting next to us at the TRAX station to get downtown before the start time. The back of girls shirts said "Running in memory of my Mom, Sandy", which of course made me weepy. Definitely a race we plan on doing again.
The next day, in celebration of all mom's everywhere, Dave did a great job with a "flowers/breakfast" sneak attack, and later we went to Carrabbas. Below is the best of the attemps we made to get a decent pic of me and my offspring. It wasn't pretty.....But what can I say - we're stuck with each other.

My favorite is how dweeby PG looks. Did he do your taxes right after this picture was taken? People who don't put their little boys in bow ties should be shot.

Well, he is your son after all! We should ask our moms how it was to try to get decent pictures of us...pretty sure they don't exist.
