That Chili Sauce better be damn good!

Wendy’s manager shot over limit on chili sauce.

MIAMI - A Wendy's manager was shot several times in the arm early Tuesday trying to protect the restaurant's chili sauce, authorities said.

A man in the drive-through argued with an employee because he wanted more of the condiment, police said. The worker told the customer that restaurant policy prohibited a customer from getting more than three packets.

The man insisted on 10, reports said. The employee complied, but police said the customer wanted more.

When the manager came out to speak to the man, the customer shot the manager, Miami-Dade police spokeswoman Mary Walters said. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The shooter fled with a female passenger.

"I did not know I got shot," store manager Renal Frage told WTVJ-TV in Miami. "When I went back to the office, I saw blood pumping out of my arm, and I was shocked. I was checking myself out and couldn't believe I got shot over some chili sauce."

Frage added: "I got shot over chili sauce. I was trying to figure while in the hospital why someone would shoot me over some chili sauce."

There you have it folks - its only downhill from here.

Its all over - you're a middle child!

So according to MSN.com, your love life depends on your birth order - who knew? I'll give you a brief summary.
  • Oldest: You’re a take-charge person. You’ll make sure you have reservations — and land a prime table, too. And anyone lucky enough to pair up with you won’t spend weeknights wondering whether he or she has Saturday night plans, because “oldest kids are planners,” says Dr. Leman.
    • Your love challenge: Being more spontaneous. First-borns aren’t the seize-the-day sort. Likewise, “you hate surprises,” Dr. Leman warns.
    • Best match: Youngest child. “It’s a case of opposites attracting,” says Dr. Leman. “You help the last-born be more organized, and the last-born helps you lighten up.
  • Middle: Middle kids actually make stable and loyal partners. You probably grew up feeling you got less attention than your sibs, and that drives you to work for every perk—including a happy relationship. Also in the plus category: You’re “a compromiser and negotiator,” Middles hate conflict; instead, you try to put others at ease.
    • Your love challenge: Opening up. “Middle children can be very secretive,” says Dr. Leman. “They got hammered by the first-born and swindled by the baby, so they keep their cards close to their chest.” You’re also not the best communicator when you’re upset.
    • Best match: Youngest child. “Middles aren’t as threatened by last-borns as they are by exacting first-borns,” so the odds are good for open communication, says Dr. Leman.
  • Youngest: You’re all about fun. The most outgoing kids in the birth order, youngest children live to have a good time (it may be because your parents were more laid-back by the time you came along). You love to do the unexpected, often on the spur of the moment.
    • Your love challenge: “Babies are the least financially dependable,” warns Dr. Leman (it comes from being, well, babied). Also, some youngest children — use that last-born charm and charisma to be a bit, ahem, manipulative, says Dr. Leman.
    • Best match: Oldest child (they serve as a good counterbalance in a parent-child sort of way) or middle child (they value friendships, so they totally understand why you love being the life of the party).
Pretty much all of these matches are opposite of those I know in real life, including my own.....Guess we're all screwed. Just pick up the pieces and move on I say.......

4 Years + Eternity

As some of you may be aware (or not, we don't expect you to), last week on May 2nd was our 4th Wedding Anniversary. Every year, we always say - 'we're gonna do something fun for our Anniversary', and this year we meant it: Massages and an overnight stay @ the Grand America SLC, with a fancy dinner out; just us two. It was a blast!

Every year we can't help but think - have we really been married that long? Its gone by incredibly fast. Although we are a mere speck on the marriage timeline, we both agree we've come a long way. With that in mind - we have posted the clip below as a tribute to all marriages/long relationships. We watch it about 5 times a day - hilarious. Hopefully there are some couples where nothing about this clip rings true, but I'm betting it hits close to home, especially the longer you're together.

Bring it on eternity!

Movies - schmoovies

As many of you know - I (Sarah, and I guess Dave too), graduated with a Bachelor's in Media Arts (aka 'Film'). What many of you don't know is - I hate the movies (in general). I hate renting them, going to the theater, and working on them (for the most part). Maybe I got burnt out in school, maybe there are only greasy people/studios in the industry, or maybe I'm too ADD to sit through anything longer than 30 min. Regardless, what isn't helping the situation is block-buster releases such as Spiderman 3.

All I have to say is Sam Raimi - you're dead to me. I'm not a comic book fan, and I don't know much about Spiderman. But what I do know is that the first 2 were great, and the 3rd was 2 hours and 20 minutes of my life I won't get back. Who needs 3 bad guys, and a million character plot lines? And Sony pictures - you completely wasted $258 million dollars, for shame. Feed Africa! Even Dinosaur was outraged - he pummeled my tummy for a good 2 hours after the movie was over, with what I can only image were tiny fists of rage.

Of course this unleashing of anger isn't all Spidey's fault - I'm just killing the messenger. The majority of the films I'm have seen have ended in regret, and a good hour of ranting. There's no solution. Millions of $ will continue to be spent on films like White Chicks, Fast and the Furious, and xXx (which all reigned at the box office for a time). Why? Because Hollywood is dealing to the lowest common denominator. And why not? $ is $ and these films will always fill the theaters. Have we come to expect nothing more from the box office? Or is the majority of film audiences too easily entertained - so Hollywood isn't trying anymore.

All I know is when there's a shimmer of hope, such as Spidey 3, its squashed with bad lines, no solid plot, and a superhero that has a double chin. RIP.
