worst day ever.
No particular reason. And to top it off, my Chocolate Chunk granola bars (which I hardly ever buy because of the addictiveness) are hardly chunky. Boo.

LOL.
We all text, or communicate in some manner that is electronic/world wide web nowadays (Facebook, email, gmail chat etc). I understand the occasional need for abbreviations. But more often than not, I find the latest and greatest "internet slang" ridiculous and annoying. Example - LOL, ROFL, OMG.....that sort of thing. I really, really can't stand it.
To make matters worse, I've noticed people have started using these in daily conversations. For instance, instead of physically laughing someone will actually say "LOL". It hasn't happened directly to me yet - just in conversations I've overheard. I can guarantee if it does happen to me, I will punch you in the face. Then most likely I will LOL.

lessons learned.
- No. No baby yet.
- I truly love WinCo with all my heart.
- D's work took everyone to Iron Man 2. Uh - Mickey Rourke is disturbingly greasy, and I'm guessing its not just in the movie.
- Both D AND his Dad have their tool belts on. And I think I just saw someone carrying a saw and a 2x4 upstairs. This is no good......
- There's a half of a chocolate cake baked from scratch in my fridge. That may just be my breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Lately, whenever I ask the kid to do something, he responds with "Mom, say please." Lesson learned indeed.

grandma marian.
Dave's sweet, sweet grandmother passed away last week. We are headed to the viewing/funeral tomorrow. I didn't know her very well, but I've heard nothing but good things. Shortly after I married into the family, she suffered a stroke (I've also been told a few strokes, there's still some debate), and lost the ability to speak (basically, communicate all together, eventhough mentally she was all there - how frustrating). I can honestly say I can't even remember the sound of her voice. Poor thing. I know she will be missed, but at the same time I can't help but think how happy she must be to be free of her physical limitations and be reunited with loved ones that have already passed on.
I can also honestly say that when my grandmother passed away I was devastated. I don't think a day has gone by that I haven't thought about her. My condolences go out to the Aller family.
Here's to awesome grandmothers! Lets hope I can be the sweet kind when I grow old, instead of the kind my grandkids are terrified of.......

lessons learned.
- You know you need a vacation when you get super stoked on a brand new premier episode of Backyardigans.
- D came home from Costco today with a plethora of cleaning supplies. If you're looking for fun this weekend, I would recommend avoiding our place....
- Although I appreciate it - nothing good can come of your toddler saying "Sorry mom" before you know what he did.
- Apparently I cannot purchase Goldfish crackers from Costco anymore seeing as I eat more of them than PG does.
- Hopefully I have purchased the last of the following items (at least until next pregnancy, if that ever happens again) - Tums Smoothies, Sparkling water, and Unisom.
- A friend asked me the other day "Wait you don't want to stay for the dance party?" To which I replied, "I'll be 2 weeks away from my due date. Dance party is as likely as me walking around in a swimmy suit".

a plague o' both your houses....
Sick. Again. ME! Again!! Sore throat, achy, stuffy. I can't tell if the kiddo has what I had a few weeks ago, or if he started another one back to back and gave that to me. Its been like 2 solid months of colds in our house.
Heads are gonna roll when I find the responsible party. Unless its PG. Then I'll just ground him for life.
