- Without request, PG has started referring to me as "Your Majesty". Such a smart lad.....
- Whilst discussing making chore charts for the kids, D suggested we all have a chore chart. I'll let you guess how that conversation ended.
- Dad + Facebook + late at night = no good. Albeit one of the funniest discussions I've had in awhile.
- Orchestra Geeks!!!!!
- Peaches?! Yes please. Although I cannot believe its already that time of year.
- I've decided. I'm going to keep a tab of the comments I wanted to/maybe should have said but refrained. Then those will count as good deeds on top of my already stellar good deed count.
- Started my running routine back up. I must be doing something wrong, cause its awful. There's no way that many people can enjoy it. Just. No. Way.
- The child is turning 4 in a few weeks. His request is to get his Halloween costume for his birthday. I think I can live with that.
- Overheard a little girl in pigtails and bows discussing my BFF Justin Beiber. She knows all about him, and I still have trouble decided who he is/what he does. WHAT?

liar.
Had to tell the child this morning that we do not have cake for breakfast. Which is a complete and utter falsehood.
Let the mind games begin PG. Someday when you're in therapy, I'm sure you'll discover that today is where it all started....
Who can blame him though?
(Mississippi Mud Cake w/Chocolate Icing and Pecans)
Incidentally, when I told him what I was making for dessert, he freaked out. And I was all "fine more cake for me". Then I finally got out of him that "he didn't want to eat mud....."

lessons learned.
- Can I just call for a ban on the remake of Footloose? Seriously? Who thinks they can replace the Bacon. Such an absurd notion.....
- Fall allergies in August? Sure.
- Successfully made a batch of cookies to give away, and did not eat a single one. Epic people, epic.
- Best Diet Coke ever? In-N-Out. Hands down. Its like crack. I may or may not have stated it before. But its worth repeating.
- Had to install a lock at the top of the front door to prevent a certain 3 year old from leaving at his leisure.
- I wonder if there's a Guinness World Record for the # of "why" questions asked in one day....

love is.....
....understanding exactly what I mean when I loudly proclaim
"WHAT IS GOING ON!" upon seeing this......
(and subsequently laughing until there were tears)
Yes folks. It was bound to happen.
Huarache sandals, kimono blouse, aaaaaand.....floral hammer pants. (what are we calling these? Bloomers? Harem pants? If there's proper terminology then we're in trouble).
Please, next 1/2 generation. Say it ain't so.
(Although they do look comfy.)
And yes. That's D. I staged him there to get a photo, but his incognito photo skills always end in failure. Good thing I'm so creepy talented....the pants are so blurry because they were trying to Hammer Dance themselves into the nearest dumpster.
Soul mates.

holy back logging batman....
Just transferred all photos/videos from my iPhone since........I purchased it.......in JUNE 2008. I had over 2,000 of those bad boys on my phone. Now that I've been perusing, I've realized there's a smattering of things I meant to blog about, and still haven't. So we're going roulette style for the next little bit as I try and sort everything out.

lessons learned.
- Sometimes when your husband is out of town, you have pancakes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At least that's what today is shaping up to be......oh and some DC of course.
- Hoarders on AE. Watch it. Feel better about your life.
- Someone asked me "So, aside from being a mom, do you have any interest in another career? What would you want to do?" All I could think of was, Is there some sort of job where you can just sleep? Preferably on a beach? I think I'd be dynamite with that.....
- Things my mom does when she visits: Installs a tile backsplash, paints artwork for the house, paints our master bedroom, hangs pictures. Jealous?
- I still dread saying goodbye to the kids when I have a sitter over - even though I know it will be absolutely fine and I do it almost on a weekly basis. Mainly I worry about the sitter having to deal with fussy kids. Yesterday, as I handed them off, both just stood at the doorway with big grins and saying "Bye!" I feel most betrayed by you Ells, you're only 1. Its nice to be loved.......sigh.
- Yellowstone makes me want a giant piece of land and some horses. But then what do I do with the land.....and the horses.....do I have to clean up after them? And then what happens if a bear attacks? Should I sacrifice one of the horses? So conflicted.
